I stumbled across Sharma after reading this weeks UK issue of NME and I'm so glad I did. He has what iIcan only describe as a truly beautiful voice. Its one of the most emotionally raw voices I have ever heard and just one note from him is enough to transmit more feel and talent than any of those other manufactured artists that are "in" right now. His song "Flicker" is a simple ballad composed by his heartbreaking powerful voice and the piano played by himself. In some instances, whilst listening to "Flicker", I'm kind of reminded of hauntingly pure Arabic music as his voice sounds almost spiritual. In "Flicker", you can almost feel Sharma's pain through his music which is something that only good music is able to do. This South Londoner has only released two songs to date "Flicker" and "Untouched" yet I'm hoping he'll release many more as many more people hear his profound voice.
